UA gets graduate certificate program in Judaic studies

The Arizona Center for Judaic Studies at the University of Arizona recently launched a stand-alone graduate certificate program. Students in the program may be enrolled concurrently in a graduate degree program in another department, but they are not required to do so.

Students in the Judaic studies graduate certificate program may focus one or more of the following fields: History and Culture of Ancient Israel, Modern Jewish History and Culture, and Gender and Jewish Studies.

Graduate certificates are designed to enhance the education of graduate or professional students or to provide continuing education to professions. They are not equivalent to master’s degrees, but some credits may be transferable to master’s programs. For more information, visit http://judaic.arizona.edu/jus_gcp.
