THE JEWISH FEDERATION OF SOUTHERN ARIZONA has posted the preliminary findings from its Jewish Community Planning Survey at www.jewishtucson.org/planning. The informational study was designed to inform the work of the strategic planning steering committee and task forces; it is not a demographic study and does not represent a statistically valid sample.

WiT2, a Tucson-based health care management and consulting company operated by former Handmaker Jewish Services for the Aging executive LEE OLITZKY, has opened the first of four Tohono O’odham elder assisted living residences. The facility is the first purpose-built assisted living residence on a native nation’s land in Arizona.

The EDIBLE ARRANGEMENTS stores in Tucson located at 6176 E. Speedway Blvd. and 6425 N. Oracle Road are no longer certified kosher. According to Rabbis Israel Becker and Yossie Shemtov, the stores were required to introduce a line of products that are not kashrut acceptable.
